Managed Disk-to-Disk Backup
GSI fully managed backup service covers initial setup of the client agent, backup server configuration, monitoring of job success, remediation of failed backups and ongoing support. You also benefit from:
- All disk-to-disk backups are electronically transmitted and stored at an offsite GSI-operated data center for increased protection
- End-to-end transit encryption of backup data via strong encryption
- All backup and restore operations fully logged
- Data at rest always stored in an encrypted manner

- Customizable data retention time (30-day default)
- Block-level replication of data changes for very efficient, low I/O intensive backups

Managed Tape Archival Service
GSI offers monthly archival of disk-to-disk backup services to magnetic media.
Tape Rotation Services
GSI's tape rotation services enable the daily removal of your tapes and insertion of blank media on your client-provided backup device. For client-based solutions involving tape drives, GSI can perform the "hands and feet" for tape rotation.
