Founded in 1996, GSI opened its doors in application development and quickly moved on to the web hosting arena. After years of honing its experience in managed services and data security, in 2004, the company became the first hosting company to meet the newly introduced data security standards imposed by the Payment Card Industry (PCI). In 2010, Dallas-based Layered Technologies acquired GSI, a move that created an even more powerful, innovative managed hosting company, deeply rooted in advanced cloud hosting and data security compliance.
